Back in the saddle E.T. style! Olympian Victoria Pendleton hops on her bike for Strictly Come Dancing Wembley show


On Saturday's episode of Strictly Come Dancing Victoria Pendleton will take her bike riding skills to new heights.
For this week's theme, Dancing Through the Decades, viewers will see Victoria back in the saddle as she is suspended by wires while she paddles through the air.
The 32-year-old retired Olympic champion is set to take to the ballroom atop a BMX while wearing a red, white and blue outfit when the BBC shows heads to Wembley Arena.

Recreating the famous scene from Steven Spielberg's stunning masterpiece, ET - The Extra Terrestrial, Victoria's arrival on set is sure to draw awes from the audience.
    Alongside her professional partner Brendan Cole, Pendleton will perform a Paso Doble to Queen's hit Bicycle Race.
    But Victoria will not be the only celebrity showcases her athletic talents, as silver medallist Louis Smith will be bringing his skills to the dancefloor.

    Smith, 23, who has already incorporated the splits, a one-armed handstand and a flip in his past performances, will be adding more of his gymnastic background to this week's show.
    Stepping off the dancefloor momentarily, Kimberley Walsh and her band Girls Aloud are to perform their Children In Need single Something New for the first time on television since regrouping.
    Australian-born goddess Kylie Mingoue will have everyone on their feet when she takes to the spotlight to sing her 80s hit The Locomotion.
    For this year's Wembley show a Royal Marines band of 50 people have been drafted in, as have a number of dancers - some who will even be on roller skates.

    Strictly professional Robin Windsor has reassured fans of the talent show that he will be well enough to take to the stage with his partner Lisa Riley.
    Earlier this week, Windsor was hit with a stomach bug that left him vomiting but on the mend, he tweeted: 'Woke up and ate the entire contents of the fridge... feeling better :)'
    Lisa and Robin, who never fail to impress the judges will give their all when they perform a samba to the Rose Royce disco classic Car Wash.
