Strictly host Bruce Forsyth, 84, shrugs off his cold for semi-final.

Nice to see you Brucie! Strictly host Bruce Forsyth, 84, shrugs off his cold for semi-final... but why is he talking like a teenager?

He was sent home with the flu the day before the semi-final, but Bruce Forsyth was on top form as he appeared on Saturday's Strictly Come Dancing.
The 84-year-old veteran entertainer shrugged off his ailments, pulled on his tuxedo and was ever the professional as he graced BBC 1 with his sparkling presence.
Although only making a small reference to his illness, which he said was 'the flu', the presenter bemused some of the audience with some odd choices of phrase.

Talking about gymnast Louis Smith he used the words 'dope and sick' and tried to impress viewers with his husky voice, asking: 'Don't you think my voice is getting sexier?'
At one point he added: 'I am just going to do some planking.'
But proving the old ones are the best, Sir Bruce was full of his usual gags, saying dancer Lisa Riley's outfit was like a curtain and although a little nasally Bruce's jokes went down a storm, in the studio at least.
Twitter on the other hand reacted with scorn over some of his jokes, with some users remarking the presenter looked a little tired.

Although Sir Bruce told The Sunday Mirror he was always going to do the show.
Speaking on Saturday he said: 'I'm not feeling too well but I'm going to do the show.'
was sent home with a head cold after arriving at BBC studios to rehearse on Friday.
Concerned bosses put results show host Claudia Winkleman on standby because of 'real concerns' veteran entertainer Brucie will not be able to present the final stages of the show.

Three years ago Sir Bruce was ordered to pull out of a show when he contracted flu, he was replaced by Ronnie Corbett.
On Saturday night Kimberley Walsh managed to command a perfect 40 once again.
The Girls Aloud star was given the top score by the judges after performing the Charleston with her partner Pasha Kovalev in the semi-finals of the show
The couple's second dance of the evening commanded high praise from the judges and left them sitting pretty at the top of the leader board.
