Her hair has gone through many transformations over the years - but even for her this is an entirely new look.
Jennifer Lawrence sported a blonde bouffant hairdo reminiscent of the style popular in the 1970s.
The Academy Award winning actress was spotted with her long tresses teased into the updo on the set of her new untitled film shooting in Boston, Massachusetts, on Friday.

The 22-year-old has gone through various dye jobs for the characters she plays on screen but the current hair incarnation may be her most dramatic turn in style.
For The Hunger Games - in 2011 - she went from her natural blonde to brunette and has continued to maintain a darker tinge ever since.
The return to golden locks marks a significant change for the actress who donned the voluptuous 70s curls for her role in a film helmed by Silver Linings director David O. Russell.
Quite a change: For her role in the untitled film the actress not only went blonde but teased her hair into a 1970s bouffant

The untitled movie, directed by Russell, is set in the 1970s and covers a real-life American scandal that exposed national corruption involving five U.S congressmen - codenamed by the FBI as Abscam.
Jennifer plays the wife of Christian Bale's notorious conman turned FBI operative in the character-driven historical drama.
And it is not only her Silver Linings director she will be re-teaming with but also co-star Bradley Cooper who plays a federal agent.
Director David O. Russell told The Playlist: 'It's a crime drama that's really about some very high end financial con artists who are very colorful, strange characters.'
Accompanying  Jennifer, Bradley, and Bale to play these 'strange characters' are notable actors Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner who the writer-director promises are 'going to do things we haven't seen them do [before] in this movie.'

Russell continued to explain: 'Bradley's going to be like you never saw him. Christian will be... I don't want to give too much of it away but they're all playing real life characters from the ‘70s and they're very intense in an insane drama.'
Besides Jennifer's Hunger Games sequel slated for release later this year she has yet another movie coming out co-starring Bradley Cooper - titled Serena.
The Depression era drama pits Bradley and Jennifer as a husband and wife duo who resort to desperate measures when it is revealed she cannot have children.
The film is set to hit theaters in September.
