Les Miserables saw him thrust into the limelight as a fully fledged sex symbol.
And Eddie Redmayne certainly seemed to be enjoying his brand new heartthrob status as he was sandwiched between two beauties in the new issue of W magazine.
The British thespian smouldered as he modelled the latest in high fashion alongside Brit Marling and Emayatzy Corinealdi.

The pair gazed at the 31-year-old as he stood between them in a Belstaff jacket and T-shirt by Alexander Wang with slicked back tresses.
He wrapped his arms around blonde Brit for the publication’s April issue cover.
The images were photographed by Alasdair McLellan, with the magazine billing the trio as the most promising young people in the industry.
Brit channelled gypsy fashion with an expensive twist, wearing a J Crew cardigan; Nina Ricci dress; Falke socks and Louis Vuitton boots.

The 29-year-old explained how she had a rootless childhood growing up all over America.
In contrast to Cambridge educated Eddie, she said: ‘As a child. I couldn’t invest all that much time in people because I knew I’d be leaving.
‘I would give myself nicknames for each city: I was Zooey, Frannie, Lux, and so on.’
The thespian – who appears in The East with Alexander Skarsgard - divulged that she wasn’t willing to be introduced to the world as an insignificant sex symbol and has been involved with the writing process of many of her projects.

She continued: ‘I knew it was going to very hard to become an actress. I wasn’t prepared to be Bikini Girl Number 3 or star in Return of the Chainsaw IV.
'Most of the storytelling in movies is by men, so I wanted to write complex narratives by women.
‘Nothing terrified me more than acting – but fear can be motivating.’
Posing beside her in the magazine spread, Emayatzy mixes country girl style with red carpet glamour.

She dons a Boss trench coat; Donna Karan New York gown and Jimmy Choo boots, switching to a black Chloe dress with cut out detail and then a strapless sweetheart cut Calvin Klein frock with Acne Studios jacket.
With her jet black tresses slicked in waves she fashions a 1920s pixie cut and speaks about her long-waited arrival on the scenes after a decade of waiting for her big break.
The winner of last year’s Sundance Film Festival Gotham Award with her film Middle of Nowhere, said about her part on American soap opera The Young And The Restless: ‘I was on the show for five episodes and I guess I quit or was either fired from the hospital.’
Much like Brit, the 33-year-old was on the road much of her upbringing as she had an ‘Army Brat’ upbringing.
Now she admits she practically lives out of her car despite her on-screen success.
‘My car is still filled with carrots and nuts so if I get hungry when I’m auditioning I have a snack. I always come home and cook dinner and I always make enough for two because then I have leftovers for lunch the next day.’
