Make-up free Jessica Alba groans after a sweaty run on the treadmill

'Aren't you supposed to feel better after a workout?': Make-up free Jessica Alba groans after a sweaty run on the treadmill

She's made a name for herself in Hollywood with her fantastic figure and nearly impeccable complexion.
But for Jessica Alba maintaining her A-list status requires a lot of hard work and hours of sweaty effort logged in on the treadmill.
The 32-year-old actress, who is currently on a seven day fitness challenge, posted a selfie to her Instagram with a caption bemoaning her exhausted condition following a gruelling workout on Tuesday.

The snap depicts a sweat soaked Alba staring bleary eyed into the lens of her smartphone.
Clearly overwhelmed with fatigue, the make-up free star is unable to form even a hint of a smile in the self-portrait.
Wearing a neon workout top and a blue headband, Jessica captioned the picture with what appeared to be a complaint as she completed day two of her personal challenge: 'Aren't u supposed to feel better after a #workout'.

But she quickly added some self-bolstering hashtags, '#motivated2work #day2', despite her clearly exhausted condition.
Although, by Wednesday she was back to her chipper self as she embarked on day three of her seven day journey.
In a selfie taken with the aide of a mirror, the mother-of-two is positively beaming as she gives herself the thumbs up.

Wearing dark tones, the actress pulled her hair into a tight ponytail, as she captioned the snap:
    'Day #3 #motivated2work'
The online posts are surely in promotion of her new book The Honest Life, which is a guide to healthy living.
The book - which was released in March - sprung from her venture The Honest Company, which delivers eco-friendly baby-care products and household cleaners to families at affordable prices.

But this is not the first time we've seen Alba engaged in gruelling activities to maintain her incredible figure.
She recently revealed her slimming secret in an interview with Net-A-Porter's weekly digital magazine.
The star actually spent a quarter of a year strapped into two girdles following the birth of her second child, Haven.
Of the experience, Alba said: 'It was brutal; it's not for everyone.
'I wore a double corset day and night for three months. It was sweaty, but worth it.'
