‘I really learned to accept my body when the trend started to become less about the super skinny models that was completely unattainable for anybody to have,’ she said.
Speaking of the media's fascination with the tabloid fixture, she added, ‘Kim Kardashian, say what you want about her, but she has revolutionized what’s accepted with curves nowadays.’
The Neon Lights singer took part in a photo shoot for the magazine’s January issue and revealed what makes her feel sexy, her beauty routine and what she finds most gratifying in life.

The former Barney & Friends child actress abandoned her usual rocker-chic look for a high fashion editorial.
In one stunning photo the Heart Attack singer wore a strapless black floor-length gown, thigh-high black boots that had detailed cut-outs and glossy black gloves with puffed-sleeves.
She strikes a seductive pose with one hand on her hip and the other reveals her toned legs as she lifts the gown.
In a closeup snap of the beauty, she was dressed in a sapphire-colored low-cut dress that called attention to her cleavage.
And Demi shows off an edgy, closely-cropped hairdo on the side of her face that had flyaway black locks with blue-colored tips. She accessorized with a chunky, futuristic-looking earpiece that had an angular shape and large gems.

The former X Factor judge admitted to hardly wearing any makeup for the shoot, including no foundation, so that she could allow her freckles and natural beauty glow. However she did add lipstick to emphasize her pout.
In fact, a bare face is one of the things the Give Your Heart A Break hitmaker finds most appealing.
'What really makes me feel sexy is being able to rock no makeup wherever I go,' she said. 'Also wearing pants or skirts that showcase my beautiful assets. I love my butt. Hopefully it stays that way, because it’s not going anywhere.'
On her beauty regimen, Demi revealed the secret is her consistency with her skin care routine: 'No matter how tired I am I always take my makeup off before I go to sleep. I use a toner. Sometimes a serum if I need some extra love, and then I wear a really thick night cream.' She added: 'I just listen to my skin.'

The actress/singer said she finds her work philanthropic efforts more rewarding than her career on stage.
'I find my activism work the most rewarding,' she said.
'I can sing in front of a crowd all day, and it only mean something to me if It means something for my audience. I learned to use my voice through other platforms, like mental health awareness, things like that are so much more fulfilling than just acting, singing or writing. There’s so much more to life than that.'
