And Poppy Delevingne showed off her sartorial flair to the fullest as she smouldered in a plunging silver tiered gown and a vampy dark pout at the Met Gala in New York on Monday night.

The 29-year-old supermodel oozed Old Hollywood glamour as she revealed a tantalizing amount of cleavage in the showstopping semi-sheer number.

Oozing in opulent gemstones, the garment had a '20s feel thanks to the tiered fringing along the hemline.

Paying close attention to detail, she carried a vintage clutch bag in her hand which matched her look perfectly.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit is hosted by Taylor Swift as well as Editor of American Vogue Anna Wintour, Idris Elba, and Jonathan Ive, chief design officer of Apple.

Anna took over as chairwoman of the gala in 1999.
