The Paramount theme park, the first of its kind, will be built near Dartford, Kent and feature more than 50 rides and attractions, as well as 2,000-seat theatre.
Paramount is the California studio behind some of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters, including Titanic, the Transformers series, Iron Man and Forrest Gump.
Hollywood-upon-Thames: The sprawling 872-acre park will feature dozens of attractions, as well as a 2,000 seat theatre and its own nightclub

It's estimated that the 872-acre park could bring in up to 40,000 visitors per day, and create up to 33,000 jobs in the area, Essex Live reported.
Along with attractions from the oldest major Hollywood studio in existence, the theme park will also feature attractions from BBC Worldwide shows, along with Aardman Animations.
This means that characters such as Doctor Who and the Daleks could make an appearance at the sprawling theme park.
It is already said the park will include zones such as Adventure Isle, Land of Legends, Cartoon Circus, Starfleet Command, Action Square, Port Paramount and Entertainment City.

An 11,000 square metre exhibition space is also planned, along with a jaw-dropping 11,000 restaurant covers to feed the hungry crowds.
The park, the first of it's kind in the UK, has been hit with setbacks after chief executive David Testa resigned when Chinese investment firm SinoFortone, raised doubts about their £100 million investment.
But Humphrey Percy, group CEO of the project's parent company Kuwaiti European Holdings, said: 'With any project of this length, people come and go.

'The stage we are going through now is absolutely focused on the development consent order process.'
Mr Percy added that Kevin Doyle, who was responsible for submitting the planning drafts, has a wealth of experience working at entertainment projects, including EuroDisney and the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur.
If approved by the government building work can start as soon as 2019 - two years later than the original projections.
It is said the park will include zones such as Adventure Isle, Land of Legends, Cartoon Circus, Starfleet Command, Action Square, Port Paramount and Entertainment City.

'We're working with world class theme park design companies to make sure that we have a real attraction.
'I'm talking about companies that have their headquarters in California and support he major film studios and attractions across the world.
'We will make sure that this experience is for the whole family. It's going to be a very amazing and exciting thing for them.'
Tickets are expected to cost £57 for a fully priced one day entry.

WHAT FILMS CAN WE EXPECT AT THE MULTI BILLION DOLLAR PARK?

There is no indication yet as to which of Paramount's films might form the basis of any of the theme park's attractions.
However, with such a huge library of films it has produced, co-produced or has distribution rights for, it could include any number of hit films to bring visitors flocking.
The Indiana Jones series and Transformers, both distributed by Paramount, would be provide ideal themes for rides too.
In particular the mine chase from Temple of Doom could offer an experience similar to Disneyland's Thunder Mountain runaway train.
To appeal to younger visitors, the park's creators could well look to 2010 hit How to Train Your Dragon for inspiration, and a Top Gun style flight simulator can't be out of the question.
The production company has any number of horror movies it can incorporate into a ride with a fear factor, such as the Friday the 13th series.
The agreement with the BBC means programmes such as Doctor Who and Top Gear could feature in lands, rides and games across the new park.
